Our SUP Classes will be 30 minute sessions held on Saturday & Sunday mid morning at Mount Hot Pools.
SUP Yoga is FUN!
What is SUP Yoga?
Stand UP Paddleboard yoga is the art of practicing asanas on a board or mat floating on a calm body of water.
Maggie, the traveling SUP yoga teacher, combines her passion for travel and yoga to bring fun and engaging SUP yoga classes with modifications for every level to community classes, events, and festivals around the world!
Why incorporating fun into yoga is important to Maggie? Here’s what she has to say:
I learned how important laughing was when two friends passed away in tragic accidents at the age of 20, I spent most of my early 20’s being angry and I stopped laughing. I found a sense of calm and happiness being on the water, it was soothing and I made stand up paddle-boarding a part of my meditation to heal. Later I started to incorporate yoga into my life and was amazed at how beneficial asanas and controlling your breath is for your mind and body. I was so happy to find a way to bring these two important elements together through SUP yoga and have a chance to laugh during yoga!
I love being able to bring a smile to someone’s face when they are in a SUP yoga class!! It’s always fun to have a splash in the water and challenge your balance!
